LOCATION
The location of the house is strategic: all things that can make a stay in Provence so pleasant and special are a short distance away. Nice is a 50-minute drive away. Het strand (Frejus) is half an hour away. Cannes 40 minutes. Close by are the Gorges du Verdon, the beautiful lake Lac St. Cassien, for swimming, canoeing or surfing, and many beautiful villages such as Claviers, Bargemon, the famous and lively Fayence, Tourrettes, Callian, Montauroux, with its alleys, squares, old churches and castles. Every day there is a Provencal market somewhere in the area with the typical scents and colours, flea markets, "vide-grenier" and flea markets are plentiful. In the area there are both extensive forests and extensive vineyards. Seillans is right on the transition from this. A little further on are beautiful lavender routes to drive. Golf enthusiasts will also get their money's worth: "Terre Blanche" at Fayence is a 10-minute drive, "St Endréol" at Le Muy is just over 25 minutes. All the shops you need could have been a maximum of 10 minutes drive, but for a nice croissant or baguette you can walk to the village.
